Przedstawiamy część wyników z raportu na temat dostępności instytucji kultury w Polsce dla rodzin z małymi dziećmi. Przebadaliśmy 1000 rodziców obu płci ze wszystkich województw, którzy mają dzieci w wieku 0-6 lat.
Zdecydowana większość rodziców w 2020 roku odwiedza instytucje kultury z myślą o dzieciach. Uznają, że takie placówki, jak muzea, galerie sztuki czy teatry maja wartość edukacyjną i pragną, żeby ich dzieci się rozwijały. Zdecydowanie w tle pozostają własne potrzeby kulturowe. Na drugim miejscu jest potrzeba spędzenia wspólnego czasu – instytucje kultury są postrzegane jako miejsce wartościowego wspólnego czasu z rodziną. Jednak ogromna ilość rodziców, bo aż 61% przynajmniej raz musiała opuścić instytucję kultury lub wydarzenie dedykowane rodzinom w takiej instytucji z powodu potrzeb dzieci i często były to potrzeby, których zaspokojenie powodowałoby stres u rodzica. Niestety spora część znas opuszczała placówke po wielokroć, niektórzy zawsze wychodzą w trakcie. Z badania wynika, że współcześnie aż 3/4 rodziców liczy się ze zdaniem dziecka co do wyboru instytucji kultury, która odwiedzą, dla części z nich zdanie dzieci jest decydujące.
